cold-processed soap?
The first noted history of cold-processed soap dates back to the Babylonians of the 2800s B.C. Using fats and ash, a soap molecule was created or "saponified". This soap molecule is a long hydrocarbon chain with a water-loving end and a dirt-loving end. Cold processed soaps are then able to hang onto the dirt and wash it away. And all without the need of synthetic detergents like you find in your everyday mass produced bars.

Why lard, you ask? Why not! Just like bacon belongs in the frying pan, lard belongs in the soap-maker's kitchen. Lard is full of vitamin D and is the most natural oil to our own, which gives lard the ability to work well with some of the most sensitive skins. This beautiful fat has a hardness that makes for a long lasting bar and a creaminess that is unmatched. Lard is also easily sourced and allows for less agricultural waste. vegan? we gotcha!
So, you're not into lard? No problem. Our vegan bars are hand crafted with luxury in mind. These bars are made with the lush conditioning oils of olive, almond, avocado, and argan, and with coconut oil for its amazing cleansing abilities. A gorgeous cold-processed bar that will leave your skin feeling silky soft and refreshingly clean. And as with all of our soaps, only pure essential oils are used.
don't forget the dishes!
Made with coconut oil and castor oil, our dish bars are the perfect solution to the dishes left in the sink. If you have to wash them, you may as well wash them with a luscious lather and the aromatics of pure essential oils. And hearing the squeak afterwards will be music to your ears.

If your going to make a lush bar of soap, you go all out. And every way we could think of squeezing goodness into our bars, we did! Aloe Vera gel mixed with distilled water gives our soap wonderful benefits perfect for those sensitive types. Aloe contains vitamins A and C, and works well on inflamed, itchy, or dry skin. Just another little extra that you wont find in other "soaps". Truly, a gossip worthy bar.
